The Skyscraper Safety Campaign Update:

THE GOOD NEWS:
President George W. Bush has just authorized $16m to investigate the collapse of the World Trade Center.
THE BAD NEWS:
The Agency doing the investigation, NIST, (National Institute of Standards and Technologies) cannot testify in any court of law regarding the results of this investigation! Even worse, this agency does not have subpoena power.
Call and Fax President Bush and the Congressmen listed below. Ask them to call for a Presidential Commission to oversee the investigation of the World Trade Center collapse. If this is not possible, the NIST investigation must be given subpoena power.
