GIVE YOUR VOICE has organized a special “Family” Day of Tribute and Remembrance to uniquely honor all loved ones lost on September 11th. Since that day, we have come to individually know and share the grief felt by countless family members also devastated by this horrible attack on our Nation. We all stand behind the promise made to the families of those who perished to ensure that America will forever honor their memory and heroism.
Through the generosity of corporate sponsors, we have organized a special day for the families to see and hear people from across the globe pay tribute and honor the memory of our loved ones. The day will feature messages from Governor Pataki, Mayor Rudy Giuliani and other members of State and City Government. Inspirational speakers and guest appearances will be made to bring music and words that offer hope for the future.
A “Tribute Memorial” has also been created especially for family members.
We hope that your family can attend this most important and Special Day of Tribute and Remembrance.
Time: 9:30 – 2 pm *Note – due to our positive outreach the day will end at 2 p.m.
Seating will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis. Please respond quickly either through our web site or send your confirmation to Jennie@OptOnline.NET or MarieGranieri@aol.com.
Invitations have been extended to the Pennsylvania and Pentagon Families so that all families can gather together, and as one family, honor our loved ones.
Subj: GYV 9/11 Day of Remembrance Update
Dear Family Members,
We are delighted at the overwhelmingly positive response to the
"Honoring the Best of America" event that will be held at the Jacob
Javits Convention Center on Saturday, June 29th. Countless family
members have written to us about the importance and need to universally
pay tribute to all those lost on September 11th . That is why we have
organized this most special day. Since September 11th, we have seen new
heroes rise to give us hope for the future and inspire us to stay
strong. It is our wish that for just for a few hours we can gather
together as "one" extended family united by compassion, love,
support
and the strength of our nation.
Thank you to all those who have responded. We want to make sure that
seating is reserved for family members. Please be sure to confirm your
attendance via email as soon as possible and include all the names of
your family members who will also attend.
God Bless You,
GIVE YOUR VOICE
