I believe that it is now apparent that after only one night, we the World Trade Center Family are finally uniting so that we may be heard.

All information that we receive will be posted on our Website as well as a Direct E-mail to you for your immediate attention.

What did we find out tonight??? Lengthy but worth the reading.

As we stood outside we were approached by a Fire Department Official and asked that we contact him as soon as possible. When we contacted him we discovered that the recovery effort is even more disgraceful than we thought.

This Fire Department Official stated that there was more than 2 bodies that were discovered at the land fill in Staten Island. In addition, 4 more bodies were discovered at the site only last night, Two Civilians and Two Fire Fighters (fully intact).

The recovery effort has been reduced to the collecting of debris and dumping into large dumpsters with very little observance to see if the debris contains Loved Ones. The dumpsters are then transported to the Staten Island Land Fill were they are briefly scanned for Loved ones and then dispensed into a larger pile of debris.

The Fire Department Official stated that the recovery effort is being handled this way as a result of the Mayor's attempt to clean up the site before he leaves office. Including reducing costs to the contracted companies responsible for the clean up.

To combat this the Fire Department has drafted a letter that will be sent to our Public officials such as Governor Pataki, Senators Clinton and Shulmer and many others. In this letter they are requesting that these elected officials state what their position is on these issues that so directly affect us. He stated that we can draft our own letter but will send us the one that the Fire Department is using to use as a model.

The Fire Department Official stated that he was very happy to hear that we are uniting. He felt that together we might be able to finally bring the Dignity that our Loved Ones deserve.
