Meeting information

We have been receiving media exposure via the newspapers and television. This will hopefully begin to generate public awareness to our concerns and issues...and begin to give voice to our loved ones and to their families.

  • NY1 aired a two part series focusing upon the issues facing us since Sept. 11th.
  • WABC also televised our meeting of Nov.23rd.
  • WPIX interviewed the Campbell, Cartier, Farrell, Granieri and Mistrulli families.
  • MSNBC also interviewed Michael Cartier and Jennie Farrell regarding the concerns that the civilian families are facing.
WPIX contacted the mayor's office to initiate a meeting with representatives from the Give Your Voice. A meeting has been established for Monday Dec. 3rd with two representatives from the mayor's office. Wednesday's article in the Daily News stated that the mayor had rejected our request for a liaison. This illustrates the contradictory and lack of clear and concrete information given to us. It is our hope that the meeting will address this and all the issues that we face.

The Judith Regan Talk Show has also set up an interview with family members of the group. Senator Shumer called and has set up a meeting for Monday evening. Hopefully, we will receive support and help from his office.

Betsy Gotbaum, the newly appointed public advocate has reached out to us and wants to help.
